Leading With Your Gut

A Revolution Inside of Me & Inside of You

Jenna Renee Shellman Season 1 Episode 30

Welcome back to another unedited episode of Leading With Your Gut. This is the third week now that I just speak from my heart while stumbling over some of my words. Today is an important day (June 15, 2020) because the Supreme Court has ruled that discrimination against LGBTQ individuals at work is illegal under the Civil Rights Act.

In this week's episode, I share my ongoing revolution as a Black woman, monumental events that have occurred in the last 10 years or so, and some lessons learned. I also discuss a few of my memories of racial discrimination that I repressed or forgot about up until recently.

Corrections from the episode*
-George Zimmerman not Mark Zimmerman
-George Zimmerman should've been considered a terrorist
-FLU cases: 39- 56 million & up to 60,000 deaths per year, not 60,000 total cases per year
